The Museum’s website may collect information of its users within the scope necessary to smooth operation of the services to be provided. The museum will continue to ensure that the personal information is appropriately handled in accordance with our “Privacy Policy” in association with collection, use, and management of information.

The Museum will collect personal information directly, in principle, from a user, after identifying the purpose of administrative processes in which the personal information is to be used and with advance notice or publication of the purpose by lawful and fair means.

The Museum may use obtained personal information for the purposes presented at the time of collecting the personal information and in the scope necessary to provide its services.
3. Provision of the personal information to a third party
The Museum will not disclose, as a general rule, the collected personal information to a third party unless in the case that:
- necessary part of the information is disclosed to our partner(s) concerned for the purpose of responding to an inquiry to the Museum;
- necessary part of the information is disclosed to our partner(s) concerned for the purpose of sending various information materials requested to the Museum;
- some of our services are outsourced to our service provider(s) in a contractual relationship to send out a notice of or invitation for an event from the Museum; or
- disclosure of the information has been requested based on an official inquiry under relevant laws, from a court, police department, or any of other public organizations, and thus the information is to be disclosed in response to the inquiry.
