at Mushiage Kiln

In 1868, the first Kozan Miyagawa was in the position of teaching pottery at a kiln in Mushiage, Okayama after accepting the request of Sanensai Iki, the chief retainer of the Okayama domain. By the end of 1870, Kozan moved to Yokohama.
