His creative urge, however, never subsided, and he launched a new brand named \u2018Tanuki-Tei (Raccoon Dog Bower)\u2019 in August, 1913, while continuing producing Makuzu ware. It was three years before his death.\r\n\u201cTanuki-Tei, Shohin Uri-age Cho (Products Sales Book)\u201d written by Kozan I himself is stored in the Yokohama History Museum. The book includes many small items usable in daily life, such as \u2018Tanuki\u2019s sake pitcher\u2019, \u2018Tanuki\u2019s toothpick case\u2019 and \u2018Tanuki painted teacup\u2019. It is recorded that the last \u2018Tanuki-Tei\u2019 brand product was created on November 13, 1913, meaning that \u2018Tanuki-Tei\u2019 had continued only for three months.
